First phase: manifesto contribution
Purpose
Empower a regenerative agriculture movement that restores ecosystems, enhances soil health, and builds resilient food systems across Europe.
Vision
To see all farming in the EU fully regenerative within 10 years, creating a sustainable, equitable, and climate-resilient future.
Principles

Regenerate and Protect
Prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and ecological balance, ensuring farming leaves the land in a better state for future generations.
Traceability and Accountability
Aim for full transparency in the supply chain, with the ability to trace at least three tiers of suppliers and ensure all are committed to regenerative practices.
Collaboration Over Isolation
Encourage collaboration across farmers, businesses, and governments, valuing knowledge exchange and cooperative models over competitive, siloed approaches.
Sustainability Over Short Term
Support policies that align financial incentives with sustainable outcomes, fostering long-term gains in ecosystem services over short-term profit.
Nature’s Cycles Over Synthetic
Favor practices that harness nature’s own regenerative cycles (e.g., crop rotation, composting, biodiversity) rather than relying on synthetic inputs (like chemicals and monocultures) .
Local Resilience
Strengthen local farming ecosystems, reducing reliance on global supply chains and encouraging shorter, more transparent routes from farm to table.
Educating for Action
Equip farmers, consumers, and institutions with the tools and knowledge to shift towards regenerative methods and adopt environmentally conscious purchasing behaviors.
Empowering the Community
Cultivate shared ownership and responsibility in land stewardship, ensuring decisions benefit the community and environment over individual gain.
Economic Viability
Ensure that regenerative farming practices are not only environmentally sustainable but also economically viable for farmers, offering a clear path to profitability while reducing external inputs.
